Many bloggers showed up with all kinds of gizmos and gadgets, ready to have fun as we set the night in motion, meeting, greeting and passing out business cards to one another. Michael Bates was on hand sharing some of the things that he has planned for putting out on batesline in the near future. As you can see, those of us in attendance filled the room at Joe Momma's Pizza and received a warm reception from Blake, the owner of Joe Momma's, who actually does a little blogging of his own. | 02/04/2010 - Tulsa, Oklahoma - 7:00 pm It was all happening Thursday night, February 4, 2010 at Joe Momma's Pizza in downtown Tulsa! So what was the big event? Well, what do you have when you get several people in the same room that have things in common with Tasha (tashadoestulsa.com), Michael (tulsaproject.com), and Michael (batesline.com)? You get a heck of a lot of bloggers who write about all sorts of things and they are just plain, ordinary people like you and me - who like to share their views, opinions and sometimes make us laugh through the gift of gab in putting text on the screen. Yes, it's called blogging! In the past few years, blogging has really taken off as a new form of social media and a means of helping us to be better informed about life within our own community and how we all feel about things we face in everyday life. There is no doubt what a great affect Tasha Ball has really made on our lives - giving us a new means of keeping track of the vast amount of events going on in the Tulsa area each week - and others like her who help to keep us so well informed. I salute each and every one of them for their hard work because writing interesting blog works can really be a challenge sometimes! In addition, if you decide that you'd like to take up blogging, send me your link and I'll get you set up on the bloggers page as well. Come and take part of the joy that we all get from blogging and being entertained by our Tulsa area bloggers! |
